These terms govern your use of Skimfield (the “Site”), operated by Skimfield (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What the Site is
Skimfield shows simplified, animated recaps of football plays. The animations are illustrations generated from play-by-play text. They are approximations, not video or an exact record of what happened on the field.
Information only
Everything on the Site is provided for information and entertainment. Scores, plays and positions may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on the Site to place bets or wagers, or to make any financial decision.
No affiliation; trademarks
The Site is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the National Football League, any team, or any data provider. Team names, abbreviations and related marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the teams in a game.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Site: no attempts to disrupt it, overload it, scrape it at scale, or access it in ways we did not intend, and no use that breaks the law.
Our content
The Site’s design, code and animations belong to us or our licensors. You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy or resell it without permission.
Paid features
If we offer paid features or accept tips or payments in the future, the price and details will be shown at the time, and payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor. Unless the law requires otherwise or we say so at the time, payments are non-refundable.
No warranty
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may change the Site or these terms at any time. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the changes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
